Learn about me

Jamie Arielle is a producer, aspiring director, and storyteller drawn to the moments that shape who we become.

After spending nearly two decades in education, she found her way back to the stories she was always meant to tell. Today, her work lives at the intersection of film, culture, memory, and human connection.

Whether developing a narrative film, producing a creative project, or documenting a live concert, Jamie is interested in what exists beneath the surface. Her work explores interior life, relational tension, identity, and the quiet complexities of becoming, creating stories that feel grounded, intentional, and emotionally honest.

When she's not on set, Jamie finds peace in journaling, joy in live music, and meaning in the everyday moments that often become the foundation of her work.

She is the co-founder of 22nd & Story, an independent production company developing intentional work for screen, and the founder of Black Women in Production, an initiative dedicated to creating opportunities, fostering community, and ensuring Black women working behind the camera are seen, valued, and supported.

At the center of everything she creates is a simple belief:

Make work that feels.

Make space that heals.

Tell stories that refuse to be ignored.
